Taking Action

We have four sections to our Growth Plan – Our People, Our Businesses (‘Our High Growth Clusters and Innovation Ecosystem‘, ‘The Everyday Economy‘, ‘Leadership & Investment‘), Our Places and Our Story.

Under each section of the Growth Plan, we describe the outcomes we need to achieve collectively as a region over the coming 10 years to realise our vision. Underpinning our 10-year outcomes, we reference some of the actions we will start to take over the coming 3 years towards achieving them. These actions are not exhaustive, nor do they fully describe the actions our external system partners will take.

We need to do things, work and invest differently if we want the future to look different to the past. We plan to invest, test and learn from what is working, do more of what is and less of what isn’t. This will enable us to adjust our plans in real-time to make sure they are having the impact we want them to have.
